Monthly Mean Subsurface Temperatures in the seas around Japan (MOVE_adjsubs_re) Monthly mean subsurface temperatures in the seas around Japan (from 117E to 159E between 15N and 49N). The temperatures are determined for 0.1x0.1 degree squares at the depths of 50m, 100 m, 200 m and 400 m from January, 1985 to the latest. Subsurface temperatures are calculated using an ocean data assimilation system, the MOVE/MRI.COM (Usui et al., 2006). Data format: One file contains data for one month. The data name attached "re" means the reanalysis data. The file consists of 1369 lines. The analysis date is recorded on the first line: the information of year is on the first 4 column and that of month is indicated by a number from 1 to 12 on the second 4 column. The GPVs at 50-m depth are recorded on a 342-line block from 2nd line, those at 100-m depth on the next block from 344th line, those at 200-m depth on the 3rd block from 686th line, and those at 400-m depth on the last block from 1028th line. The depth information is recorded on the first 3 column on the first line of the 342-line block. The GPVs on the grids along 49.0N are recorded on the 2nd line, those along 48.9N are on the 3rd line, and those along 15.0N are on the 342nd line. Each line contains the 421 GPVs from 117.0E to 159.0E at the interval of 0.1 degree in longitude. Each GPV domains 3 columns in the unit of 0.1 degree centigrade.
